Our Response to Poor Industry Practices

📣 We write this statement in response to recent reports of poor practices occurring within the industry.

We are deeply saddened by yesterday's report, and want to make it clear we condemn the behaviour of these companies. Puppy welfare has and always will be our number one priority at Pups Yoga, and we wanted to highlight the strict procedures we have in place to keep them safe and well at all times.

We take the welfare of our puppies incredibly seriously. We are a professional company who consider the welfare of our pups and staff as our prime concern. Featured on this carousel are some of the items we have in place to ensure our attendees, staff and pups continue to benefit from our sessions.

Ultimately, we are equally appalled to see how other puppy yoga companies have been running and treating their puppies throughout their sessions.
At Pups Yoga we pride ourselves on providing an experience that benefits both our pups and attendees, and always taking puppy welfare incredibly seriously.
Despite this, we are also aware that we should always be striving to improve our operation, and this is especially important when it comes to puppy welfare. Please see below for some action items we will be putting in place going forward as we think transparency is incredibly important.

Action items :

🐾 Our staff will extend on their training with a specific puppy first aid course
🐾 Work with agencies to create a standard for puppy care at sessions
🐾 Continue with our ‘puppy grads’ to give people full transparency of our pups life from puppies to going to their forever homes

We look forward to working with the respective agencies and councils to ensure that all those who run sessions, fulfil their obligations of putting puppy welfare first.
